Video instructions and measurements for my cards

here is a video of how to make the card. . . I wish I could take crdit for the card but I can't, I saw this card at Splitcoast stampers, and thoguht it looked fun and wanted to try it. Now I am addicted to it and coming up with different themes. I really like to incorporate a packaged theme paper, since they all somewhat go together, it helps in the coordination. I do not have the scorepal, I use my fiskars glide cutter/score machine.

I also have the measurement for the panels. I like to use a cardstock and then a patterned paper-- I find by using both it makes for a sturdier card. . .

Here are a measurements for the panels
Solid Cardstock Panel
2 1 7/8 x 5 3/8
2 1 7/8 x 2 3/8
4 1 7/8 x 1 3/8
2 1 3/8 x 3 7/8
1 2 3/8 x 3 7/8

Patterned Paper Panel
2 1 3/4 x 5 1/4
2 1 3/4 x 2 1/4
4 1 3/4 x 1 1/4
2 1 1/4 x 3 3/4
1 2 1/4 x 3 3/4

On my cards for the photos I use the measurement for the Patterned Paper Panels, and I resize/crop the photos in adobe photo shop.

The fun of making these cards is in the paper choice the patterns and the embellishment.

Hope you enjoy would love to see what you come up with.

First Post in the World of Blog

Ok so I thought I would give this a try. Blogging. My plan is to blog projects that I have completed and done in the world of scrapbooking and stamping and card making. In the world of creativeness there are not a lot of men that like to scrapbook and stamping, so I decided that I would give this a try.
